This morning I have had an introduction / induction, a talk about Turtles and a walk down to the hatchery + lunch cooked for me

People here are friendly & welcoming – some CR locals who live at the project. An Australian, a German, French and a girl from Chile.

We have to check each day if any have hatched. 10 of them from each nest are measured & tagged then they all have to be taken down to the sea when the sun is not hot.

I will be doing this tomorrow also.

These are pics of the beach – I’m going to be down there tonight at 1.30 – 5am to check for any nesting turtles.
